Clinical Investigations – A short story (Part 1 of 4) Friday evening and the weekend is looming. One last meeting. Scheduled for 30 minutes. One last task before heading out. Than… Someone asked a simple question: "So, what clinical evidence are we planning to submit?" And the chaos erupted. Not because nobody had an answer. Everyone had a different answer. Some people thought the existing literature would be enough. Others assumed a clinical investigation was inevitable. A few thought the decision had already been made. The biggest challenge too start with often isn't running a study. It's understanding when one is needed, what question it should answer, and what success would look like. Those conversations usually happen long before the first patient is enrolled. And they're often the conversations that determine whether the rest of the project runs smoothly. Have you ever been in a meeting where everyone thought someone else had already answered the clinical evidence question?
