Several education agents said the visit reshaped their perceptions of Auckland, with experience of its expansive school campuses and green spaces challenging previous assumptions about what schools in a large city can offer. Importantly, this wasn’t just about seeing schools — it was also about building genuine connections with educators in Christchurch, where they attended the SIEBA Hui Agent Forum. That kind of insight equips agents to share authentic, first-hand stories with students and families back home.
