Today, EDPS delegation composed of the Secretary General Leonardo Cervera-Navas, Fanny Coudert and Brendan Van Alsenoy together with European Data Protection Board Chair Anu Talus and Isabelle Vereecken met with members of the French National Assembly's parliamentary inquiry committee on structural dependencies and systemic vulnerabilities in the digital sector.   The committee is examining the risks that digital dependencies may pose to France's independence. Cooperation with Member States and national parliaments is essential. Engagements like this reflect the EDPS's commitment to working closely with national institutions to reinforce data protection across the EU.
