*** G7 Roundtable of Data Protection and Privacy Authorities *** Today and tomorrow, Supervisor Wojciech Wiewiorowski with the EDPS delegation participates in the G7 Roundtable of Data Protection and Privacy Authorities, joining the authorities of Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom, the United States and the European Data Protection Board. Established in 2021, the Roundtable serves as a forum for strategic cooperation to exchange information on legal, technological and operational developments, facilitating dialogue between the heads of authorities, and seeking common positions on matters of shared interest. Under the French G7 Presidency, this year's discussions focus on three priorities: ☑️ emerging technologies, ☑️ law enforcement cooperation, ☑️ free movement of data.
