*** G7 Data Protection Week ***   The EDPS is in Paris this week for the G7 of Data Protection and Privacy Authorities, participating in a series of discussions and roundtables. The CNIL - Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertés welcomes G7 Data Protection Authorities' delegations ahead of the week's proceedings. Yesterday, Supervisor Wojciech Wiewiorowski attended the high-level roundtable on children's safety and privacy online, co-organised by the OECD - OCDE and the CNIL under the French G7 Presidency.   The event brought together data protection and online safety authorities from across OECD countries to identify effective strategies for protecting children in the digital environment. Today, Wojciech Wiewiorowski joins the Privacy Research Day to deliver a keynote speech at the 5th edition of this international event bridging academic research and regulatory practice. The EDPS is committed to contributing to this global effort, sharing expertise, aligning approaches, and working with legislators, technologists, industry and civil society to protect children and fundamental rights.
