5th meeting of the European Artificial Intelligence Board Today, EDPS Wojciech Wiewiorowski took part in the 5th meeting of the AI Board. Composed of representatives from all EU Member States and supported by the AI Office within the European Commission, the AI Board plays a key role in the governance framework of the AI Act. It works to ensure the consistent and effective implementation of the Regulation across the Union and to foster cooperation among national authorities. The EDPS is responsible for monitoring the implementation and respect of the AI Act within EU institutions, bodies and agencies, supporting the development of AI that is both innovative and trustworthy.
