What a great week. New Financial Therapy Journal Article submitted with Lead Author Ashley McWhorter Keamo who is absolutely brilliant and asks the best questions. Not sharing specific details while in blind peer review. Got to present to BASE Cognitive Behavioral thanks to Andrea Umbach, Psy.D., ABPP for the invite. What an insightful group of therapists engaging in the topic of money stress to financial intimacy for couples. What lights me up these days is moving between the academic research for financial therapy, working with clients, and training/presenting to fellow professionals. Each activity informs the other and makes them all richer. Oh not to mention got some new professional relationships in the pipeline that are going to be huge next steps for me.
