Without a shadow of a doubt, working with Mayor Oliver at the South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority has been the most rewarding chapter of my life since retiring from professional sport. Together with Nicola, we’ve already built an AMAZING little setup, and listening to the inspiring discussions at last week's Active Travel England conference, I truly believe we're heading in the right direction with our incoming strategy! 🚨 The team is now growing to help get this new strategy delivered! Our new strategy aims to make walking, wheeling and cycling more inclusive and so we especially welcome applications from people whose voices are sometimes least heard in relation to active travel and transport, including women, people with disabilities, people from ethnically diverse communities.
