INDUSTRIAL AI ONLY WORKS IF THE FOUNDATION IS RIGHT // At HANNOVER MESSE 2026, T-Systems International (Deutsche Telekom) and EDAG Group showed how AI, cloud and industrial engineering can work together on a sovereign European infrastructure. The industrial metaverse platform metys will run on Telekom’s T Cloud Public and the Industrial AI Cloud. The goal is simple: make advanced digital technologies usable in real industrial environments, especially for SMEs. What this enables: - Secure AI and cloud use in line with European data standards - Connected processes from development to production and sustainability - Access to high-performance computing for industrial use cases In practice, this means: - Faster product development through virtual prototypes - Better production planning using real-time data - More efficient use of energy and materials through AI-based simulation The announcement was made at Hannover Messe 2026 in the presence of Dr. Ferri Abolhassan (CEO T-Systems, Board Member Deutsche Telekom), Dirk Keller (Managing Director EDAG Production Solutions), and Jörg Gehrmann (VP Sales Industry & Public, EDAG Group).
