On 15 April, ECSO organised a dedicated working session in Bochum 🇩🇪 on the 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝗙𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 programme, on the sideline of our Cyber Investors Days. Together with accelerators, investors, industry leaders, academia, and regional ecosystem builders from across Europe, we aligned on a clear objective: reduce fragmentation in the European cybersecurity market by building a truly pan‑European, collaborative acceleration framework. The European Accelerators Federation is designed as an operational platform delivering market validation, investment access, and collaboration at European scale between national accelerators. Some of the key outcomes of the session: ▫️ A shared vision for a rotating, pan‑European ecosystem supporting cybersecurity start‑ups and scale‑ups; ▫️ Concrete action plan to boost cross‑border acceleration, investment support, and market access; ▫️ Strong consensus on the need to better connect CISOs, investors, researchers, and founders powered by ECSO's network; ▫️ Initial alignment on funding mechanisms; ▫️ Commitment from multiple regions to actively contribute to and host future activities 👏 A big thank you to all contributors present on this day who helped turn a shared challenge into a concrete, collective ambition: Willi Mannheims (eCAPITAL ENTREPRENEURIAL PARTNERS, Germany), Prof. Dr. Angela Nicoara (Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, Switzerland), Philippe Skender (Bochum Economic Development, Germany), Arnaud de Vibraye and Victoria Cristiano (ECSO), Adrien SAVARY 🧱🏴‍☠️ (Cyber Booster, France), Thomas Würstlein and Anne Plitt  (Cube 5 | Creating Security), Michael Lucassen (TIN Capital | European Cybersecurity Investors, The Netherlands), Jon Mitxelena Arrieta (Cybasque and CyberLur, Spain).
