We kicked off ECRM's Beauty Session in Dallas with a busload of buyers and brands who fiercely competed for the top slot in The Great Big Texas Beauty Store Tour scavenger hunt bingo! The tour was hosted by Emily Anne Page of START to SOLD, who shared some interesting tidbits about each retailer along the route. ECRM's Kelli K. organized the teams. Each bingo card box contained a concept related to beauty retail and products, and to scratch off a box, the team had to find the concept in the store or on a product and take a selfie in front of it. We visited three stores (Sephora, Ulta Beauty and Bluemercury), and they needed at least one from each store. Winners were selected based on their speed to completion of a row in their bingo card, as well as creativity in their selfies, and they got pretty creative! Winners were announced during cocktails last night, and prizes ranged from gift cards to cowboy hats and Western trinkets.
