πŸ“ˆ The conversation on a Just Transition in the Built Environment is gaining momentum. Following the publication of our study, "Towards a Just Transition for Workers in the Built Environment in Europe", we are pleased to see strong engagement from policymakers, industry stakeholders, labour market experts and the wider sustainability community. Ten news pieces featuring our research were published by leading outlets such as the Morning Star and Edie in the UK, the Clean Energy Wire | CLEW and Carbon Pulse in Europe, and the Tagesspiegel Morning Briefing in Germany. These pieces reached a total audience of over one million. The report explores key challenges and opportunities facing the built environment workforce, including skills shortages, workforce preparedness, job quality, regional disparities and the implications of decarbonisation for workers across Europe. We are also delighted to see the findings being amplified through sector networks and stakeholder communities, helping to inform discussions on how policymakers, employers and training providers can work together to support a just transition. A big thank you to all partners, stakeholders and organisations who have helped share the research and contribute to this important conversation. πŸ‘‡ Swipe through to see campaign highlights and coverage. πŸ“– Read the report: https://lnkd.in/e4tN_jtv #JustTransition #BuiltEnvironment #GreenTransition #Construction #ClimatePolicy #Employment #Skills #FutureOfWork #LabourMarket #Sustainability #EnergyEfficiency #CircularEconomy #EcorysResearch
