📢 New project update - Cost-Benefit Analysis of Preventive Care Services in Ghana We are pleased to share that Ecorys has delivered two major analytical studies for UNICEF Ghana, supporting evidence-based decision-making in the health and nutrition sector. Our work included a Fiscal Space Analysis and a Cost-Benefit Analysis focused on primary health care and nutrition, at a critical moment as Ghana faces increasing fiscal constraints and transitions towards greater domestic financing of preventive health and nutrition services for children. Key insights include: 🔍 Preventive health and nutrition interventions offer strong economic and health returns; 🤝 External funding is expected to decline, increasing the importance of domestic investment; 🩺 There are clear opportunities to expand fiscal space and improve resource allocation for health and nutrition. The studies provide practical recommendations to support a shift towards a prevention-oriented healthcare system while safeguarding fiscal sustainability.
