šŸ•‘ How should Europe approach the future of seasonal time changes? We want to hear from you! An Ecorys-led study team supporting the European Commission, brought together Member States, stakeholders and experts to discuss the ongoing assessment of the potential repeal of seasonal time changes across the EU. The workshop presented the latest findings from our research and consultations, alongside the methodology being developed to assess impacts across nine policy areas, including health, transport, energy, the internal market, tourism and public safety. A key part of the discussion focused on ten possible implementation scenarios, from EU-wide permanent winter or summer time to different models of partial harmonisation. Participants highlighted the importance of strengthening the evidence base, particularly around quantifying impacts and understanding the implications of cross-border time differences. The insights and expertise shared during the workshop will play an important role in refining our analysis and ensuring the study reflects a broad range of perspectives. ā° The consultation remains open. We continue to welcome evidence, research, data and practical experience from stakeholders, and we are happy to arrange bilateral discussions with organisations wishing to contribute.
