Good acoustics belongs on the menu too - Restaurant Mezcla, La Rochelle Restaurant Mezcla is a small, intimate lunch restaurant in La Rochelle, France, with only 35 seats and a strong culinary identity combining French, Spanish and South American influences. As the restaurant grew in popularity, noise levels increased and conversations became difficult during busy lunch services. The objective was clear: improve acoustic comfort without changing the character of the space or disrupting daily operations. Ecophon Solo™ Circle elements were installed on the ceiling in a contrasting black-and-white layout - providing effective sound absorption while reinforcing the restaurant's refined, contemporary interior. The installation was completed quickly and outside opening hours. The result is a noticeably calmer dining experience. Regular guests experienced the difference immediately. Installed by Echoplaf.
