4,000+ homes for around 7,600 Queenslanders 🙌 That’s the potential of the Montague Road precinct, with Lendlease selected as the successful proponent to bring this riverfront opportunity to life. The 7.1ha riverfront site will evolve from a legacy industrial site into a new, world-class inner-city neighbourhood, with the first stage to deliver nearly 800 homes alongside 1.2ha of activated public realm and riverfront open space before the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games. With opportunities to integrate with neighbouring sites, the precinct will contribute to a more connected stretch of Brisbane’s riverfront. 🏙️ As part of the Land Activation Program, Economic Development Queensland is working with industry to unlock underutilised land and support housing supply in well-located areas close to jobs, transport and lifestyle.
