Applications are now open for the 2026 National Economic Development Awards for Excellence! EDA invites economic developers from across the country to showcase the projects, partnerships and people driving real change. Whether your work is innovative, collaborative, inclusive, sustainable or transformational, we encourage you to put it forward. The Awards provide a platform to elevate your impact, recognise your team’s efforts and share your success with peers and sector leaders across Australia. Entry is free, and EDA membership is not required for categories 1–10. Projects delivered between 1 January 2025 and 30 June 2026 are eligible. Finalists and winners will be celebrated at the 2026 National Economic Development Conference Awards Gala on 14 October in Hobart, where achievements will be showcased to a national audience.
