Our General Assembly has come to a close, but we're heading home with plenty to think about! So, here are a few key takeaways: 1. In times of crisis, public service media is more than a lifeline. From breaking news to children's entertainment, sport and music, PSM serves the full breadth of what it means to live through difficult times. 2. Public service media is the true check on power and is a critical to upholding democracy. 3. And yet, the threats are multiplying, including hostile governments, Big Tech, and attempts to push radio out of cars. PSM needs to be defended as the critical infrastructure that it is.   We also looked at the forces that will shape public service media over the next three or four years – our new PSM Heatmap gave us plenty to work with.
