💫 Big congrats to our brilliant Eurovision News Spotlight journalist, Maria Flannery, who’s been named *Open Source Rising Star of the Year* by the OSMOSIS Association for her work on Eurovision News Spotlight.   The award recognizes emerging professionals with outstanding investigative skills, leadership and commitment to the open-source intelligence (OSINT) community.   Picked from a field of more than 50 across all categories, OSMOSIS said it was Maria’s ‘innovative application of OSINT techniques in journalism’ that won over the jury.   This prize says everything about Maria’s talent and dedication, but also the pioneering work happening across the Eurovision Spotlight network, where journalists use open-source intelligence to strengthen reporting, uncover stories and help audiences better understand an increasingly complex information environment.   Congratulations, Maria on this well-deserved distinction and for making all of us at the EBU proud 👊
