Our Odile Renaud-Basso was awarded the Foreign Policy Association Medal at an event in New York last night. The honour celebrates individuals who ‘demonstrate responsible internationalism’ and work to expand public knowledge of world affairs. Within bodies such as the EBRD, multilateralism is very much alive, our President said in her acceptance speech. A multilateralism which is pragmatic, disciplined, and focused on demand and results can - and will - continue to deliver, not just at the EBRD, but across the international system, she told guests at the award ceremony, held at the Harvard Club of New York City.   “This medal means a great deal to me, not only as a personal honour, but as a symbol of continued faith in international cooperation - and of our shared responsibility to make it work,” she said.
