Glad to see the approval of our new €160 million Resilient Water Systems programme in the Kyrgyz Republic and Tajikistan, supported by the Green Climate Fund. #GCFB45 While expanding access and rehabilitating infrastructure remain essential, the challenge has evolved: ensuring water systems can continue to deliver reliable services amid climate uncertainty, more frequent shocks and growing pressure on resources. The new programme provides an opportunity to demonstrate what climate-resilient water systems can look like in practice and how resilience can be integrated into water sector planning and investment.
