A home game for our climate technology. 🚌 The first new battery trolleybuses for #Esslingen, Germany, have been officially handed over and we are on board with the AC135-230 roof-mounted air-conditioning system. For the city, the vehicles are an important step towards fully locally emission-free public transport by the end of 2026. For us, the project has also a special meaning: Eberspächer was founded in Esslingen more than #160years ago, and our headquarter is still located here today. ❄️🌡️With 30 kW cooling capacity and 35 kW heating capacity, the AC135-230 helps ensure comfortable temperatures for passengers throughout the year. Compact, lightweight and equipped with a separate electric compressor, the system is designed for the requirements of modern city buses. This project shows how reliable thermal management can support the transformation of public transport – directly on our doorstep.
