We help organizations build the leadership and workforce capabilities they need to execute strategy, transformation, and performance at scale.
Our hiking group took a road trip to North Carolina this past weekend. We spent the day at Dorothea Dix park, (www.dixpark.org) a 300+ acre urban park of rolling meadows, ancient oaks, sweeping skyline views and historic architecture. The land has a rich, storied history and a bright future as it transforms into something extraordinary. We visited sunflower fields in peak bloom and the larger-than-life wooden troll sculptures by internationally renowned recycle art activist Thomas Dambo. All of it was made possible by Raleigh city leaders who purchased the land in 2015 and through the collective work of a community whose passionate support and investment are turning the vision into reality. We book ended the day at the nearby North Carolina State Farmers' Market, a sprawling, year-round space filled with fresh produce, plants, meats, and specialty items from local farmers and vendors. Two very different projects. Two very different visions of when diverse perspectives, passions, and expertise come together around a purpose, the end results can be extraordinary. I see this every day at Harvard Business Impact Enterprise. We bring together researchers, practitioners, thought leaders, and real-world experience, not to offer a single answer, but to help organizations see the full picture and build toward their own vision.
