🇺🇸 We’re joining the US Precision Fermentation Alliance (PFA). At Formo, we use microorganisms to create highly functional dairy proteins through precision fermentation. The US is a major market for protein innovation, and we’re seeing strong customer interest in ingredients that deliver on quality, replicability and performance. That opportunity goes well beyond cheese. We’re excited about what our casein platform can unlock across a broader range of protein-forward applications, especially where functionality and nutrition need to work hand in hand. Together with fellow PFA members, we look forward to supporting work on: 👉 maintaining an efficient, science-based GRAS pathway that supports innovation and regulatory agility 👉 fair, evidence-based approaches to UPF definitions 👉 the infrastructure needed to scale food biomanufacturing in the US Raffael Wohlgensinger, Founder & CEO of Formo: “Protein is front and center in the US, and that creates real momentum for ingredients that perform. We’re seeing strong customer excitement around our casein platform across a broad set of protein-forward applications. Joining the Precision Fermentation Alliance matters because scaling this category takes more than great technology. It also takes the right conditions to bring new ingredients to market and into customers’ hands.” Christian Poppe, Formo's Sr. Director Global Affairs: “From a policy perspective, the priorities are clear: maintaining a fast and science-based GRAS pathway, fair treatment in the UPF categorization debate, and long-term infrastructure support. PFA gives the sector a strong collective voice on exactly those issues.” Thanks for a warm welcome Tony Pavel. We're excited to get to work! LFG 🚀
