Father and daughter at the controls ✈️ In the summer of 1996, easyJet flew to France for the first time, from London Luton to Nice. Thirty years on, France is one of our most important markets, with deep roots across the country. Franck Leterme, one of our captains in Nice, joined easyJet in 2004 after becoming a father. He flew from our bases across Europe, before settling in Nice when we opened our base there in 2013. His daughter Giliane grew up watching her dad fly, caught the bug, and has now completed her cadet training as an easyJet pilot, based in Lisbon. This week they flew together for the first time, Captain and First Officer, father and daughter, on a rotation between Nice and Bari. A special moment for them 🧡 and a story reflecting how easyJet has become a truly European airline, creating opportunities and inspiring the next generation. #easyJet #Aviation #France #Careers #30Years
