Craigheads: A Place To Grow regeneration underway 🏘️ Investment worth £350,000 has begun in the Craigheads area of Barrhead, as part of a pilot project to help improve the wellbeing of residents. 💙 Initial works have already started including general building works, jet washing of drying greens, fascias and other communal areas, and the repair of metal fencing and retaining walls. Further improvements are planned for the coming weeks and months, covering the cleaning and repair of gutters, repair of communal windows and stairwells and common close painting. 🖌️ We are clear that for this project to be a success, the local community must be involved. An initial survey was recently issued, with all Craigheads residents receiving the information in writing, and valuable feedback and suggestions were received.
