𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝘀𝗽𝗼𝘁𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁: 𝗗𝘂𝗻𝗲𝗹𝗺 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝘁 Retail fit-out is rarely just about the finished look. It is about coordination, sequencing and making sure the right packages are delivered at the right time to keep the wider programme moving towards handover and opening. At Dunelm Manchester Fort, we delivered drylining, T&J, suspended ceilings and bulkheads as part of the new store fit-out. Like most retail programmes, the detail mattered from the outset not just in the finish itself, but in how the work was coordinated with the wider site activity and the fixed opening programme. Across the trading floor, the suspended ceiling layout needed to work properly with the lighting design and M&E services, so the finished store performed technically and looked right for the Dunelm environment. That is often where retail projects are won or lost: clean setting-out, coordinated layouts and a finish that feels straightforward when a lot has gone into making it so. For us, this kind of work is about practical delivery. Good planning. Good sequencing. Getting the package in properly and keeping the programme moving. That is what matters on retail projects where the opening date does not move and multiple trades are working towards the same handover point.
