During the event, he delivered a poster presentation examining disaster risks associated with droughts, cyclones, and floods across three study areas: Antananarivo (Madagascar), Sint Eustatius (Caribbean Netherlands), and Cabo Verde. The presentation explored the distinct vulnerabilities, exposure patterns, and resilience needs of these regions while emphasizing the importance of climate data, risk assessment, and evidence-based planning in strengthening disaster preparedness.
