On 5–6 November, representatives from the EASNIE member countries met in Bratislava, Slovakia, for the autumn bi-annual meeting. The meeting featured the approval of next year's work programme and updates on EASNIE activities, including Country Policy Development Support https://lnkd.in/eXRZ_B42. A major milestone was the approval of the Republic of North Macedonia’s application for EASNIE membership. As part of the meeting, the Slovakian Ministry hosted a conference in collaboration with EASNIE and Comenius University, titled ‘Towards inclusive education: new challenges and approaches’. Following an official welcome from Ministry representative Kálmán Petőcz, State Secretary Ján Hrinko underscored the importance of early childhood opportunities, parental engagement and inclusive digital learning. National initiatives showcased during the event addressed segregation, the reintegration of learners with intellectual disabilities, and community-based early childhood programmes.
