THE HUM, the first Human Nature short film, launches this powerful series today, Earth Day 2026. Oceanographer Katharina Grisotti can hear something no one else can — a constant, untraceable hum rising from the depths of the Earth. In The Hum, she navigates the tension between the relentless noise of the city and the healing silence of the open ocean, on an intimate journey into deep listening, belonging, and the invisible thread connecting us to the Earth. This is the first film in Human Nature, a series in collaboration with Earth Alliance on the interconnectedness between humans and the natural world.
