π New global polling, conducted in partnership with Global Renewables Alliance (GRA) and We Mean Business Coalition, shows businesses see electrification as a strategic pathway to stronger energy security, competitiveness and economic growth. Following repeated energy shocks and continued geopolitical uncertainty, business leaders are looking to reduce their exposure to volatile fossil fuel markets and invest in more resilient, electrified operations. Our polling of 1,994 business leaders across 18 markets finds: β‘ 91% expect electrification to improve their energy security β‘ 88% say electrification will make their business more competitive β‘ 90% expect to have largely electrified their operations by 2035 But business ambition is outpacing policy and infrastructure delivery. 72% of business leaders say government action on electrification is moving too slowly, highlighting the need for stronger policy frameworks, investment and enabling infrastructure to support the transition. The findings send a clear signal: businesses are ready to electrify, but governments and infrastructure providers must move faster to unlock the full benefits for energy security, competitiveness and economic growth. π Read the report: https://lnkd.in/encf-7jQ #PoweringUpPoll #ElectricAdvantage Pieter de Pous sarah jenkinson Saga Henriksdotter Public First Global Renewables Alliance (GRA) Anusha Mata Helen Civil Silvia Cossa Oliver Balch, PhD Molly Walton Ana Campos Pascale Palmer Gillian N.
