We’ve been investing in the grid for decades. So, why does the report card still look like this? We’re asking more from a system that hasn’t fundamentally changed and trying to upgrade a 20th-century model, instead of rethinking it for 21st-century loads. At some point soon (now!), incremental fixes stop working. It will take a different approach to how we think about power altogether.
