Inspired by Nature. For Climate. For Our Future. Today’s World Environment Day 2026 reminds us that protecting our environment and tackling climate change go hand in hand. At E.ON, sustainability is at the core of our strategy. Together with our customers and partners, we are driving the energy transition and helping build a more sustainable future. Here’s what that looked like in 2025: 🌬️ By the end of the year, around 70% of Germany’s onshore wind capacity was connected to E.ON’s electricity grids. ☀️ Almost 50% of Germany’s solar capacity was connected to our German distribution grids, supporting the rapid expansion of renewable energy. 🌱 Together with our customers, we helped avoid more than 110 million tonnes of CO₂ emissions over the course of the year. These milestones show what is possible when we work together to accelerate decarbonization.
