Electrically-heated RTOs enabling large-scale VOC treatment without fossil fuels Dürr CTS now offers all RTO system designs in an electrically heated version, making the technology suitable for large-scale industrial processes for the first time. The systems build on proven multi-chamber RTO technology, replacing gas burners with electric heating elements while maintaining the same purification performance. This allows treatment of high volumetric flows, high VOC loads, and even corrosive exhaust gases. For operators, this means greater flexibility in energy sourcing and the opportunity to eliminate direct CO₂ emissions by using renewable electricity. Different system designs ensure that each process step can be equipped with the right solution, even under demanding conditions.
