We are pleased to announce the publication of our article: Process Safety in Low-Carbon Hydrogen Production via Electrolysis in Springer Nature’s anthology on reducing the industrial carbon footprint. https://lnkd.in/dQdcHYs4 We used a mixed methodological approach, comparative analysis of standards, and case studies in pilot plants. Among the main challenges are: High flammability of hydrogen; Explosion risks due to mixing with oxygen; Embrittlement of materials; Leaks in pressurized systems. The viability of green hydrogen depends on the integration of advanced technologies, robust regulations, and proactive risk management. Measures such as the selection of corrosion-resistant materials and the implementation of early detection sensors are essential to ensure operational safety.
