Hiya guys, I recently put out a post about a potential hackathon through my group. And someone got in touch without profile pic and no work history on linkedin but 500+ connections, and I was as friendly as I should be you know. I'll have to be careful about taking people on board with things though, because it just seems fishy when someone wants to collab and wants to collab on freelancer platforms but not really saying much about themselves, no profile pic, talking money (I don't like talking money). But I am mainly posting this for other people's benefit. Don't let suspicious folk join your groups, at least scan people a little before hand. I'm only open and easy going to a certain point, and I will question your legitimacy if there is something not right. Especially when that means bringing people into a group with others. If you know you're up to no good - Don't try it with me. You're only wasting your own time.
