It is hard to resist the temptation and not to try to nick something that isn't nailed down. A series of applications to the Russian patent office for registration of brands from a Moscow entrepreneur and two companies in which he is a founder: Givenchy, Lancome, Christian Dior, Shiseido, Nivea, Lumene, Estee Lauder, Mary Cay, Essie, Vichy, Clinique, Dior, Bobby Brown, Giorgio Armani, Maybelline New York, L’oreal Paris, M.A.C., Apple, Amazon, Dove, Tide, Mars, Lacoste, Boss, Hugo Boss, Pampers, Ariel, Ebay, Durex, Reebok, Instagram, Mercedes-Benz, Coca-Cola. Frankly, I don't believe that the Rospatent will register any of this.
