Tuesday, May 5 is the National Day of Awareness and Action for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls and Two-Spirit People. Also known as Red Dress Day, it's a day to remember and honour those who have been taken as a result of gender-based and racialized violence in Canada. Join us and the DCSA in The Pit from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Tuesday for a meaningful drop-in button-making session in recognition of Red Dress Day. Visit https://dcproud.ca/67553e for more info. The DC campus community is also encouraged to wear red as a symbol of commitment to ending gender-based violence, and to visit the red dress installations at both our Oshawa and Whitby campuses.
