Lisa Ryan, (MInstD) is Chief People, Capability and Culture Officer at Tāmaki Health, New Zealand’s largest independent primary healthcare group. She brings extensive experience in workforce strategy, organisational transformation and change leadership, with a strong focus on building high-performing, people-centred healthcare organisations. Gene Pateman is Chief Executive Officer of New Zealand Medical Indemnity Insurance (NZMII). With deep experience across healthcare, insurance and risk, Gene works closely with medical professionals to support safe practice, professional protection and the long-term sustainability of New Zealand’s health system. Tony Ryall CNZM is a former Minister of Health and one of New Zealand’s longest-serving health ministers. Since leaving Parliament, he has held numerous governance and leadership roles across the health, education and insurance sectors, bringing valuable insights into health system reform, public policy and governance. Morag McDowell is New Zealand’s Health and Disability Commissioner.
