Duke Energy has been selected by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) for up to $61.8 million in grant funding to support reliability upgrades at power plants in Kentucky and North Carolina, bringing the total funding to nearly $96 million. This is Duke Energy’s latest effort to use all levers, including federal financing, to strengthen reliability for our plants while keeping costs as low as possible.
