It’s honestly so strange and almost unreal how life moves so quickly. Before I even continue, this post is not meant to be about me or my profession in any show-off kind of way (I know how social media can be!). This is just a moment from the heart. Today marks the end of a truly beautiful chapter, as I prepare to step into another one with fresh eyes and an open heart. And I can’t help but reflect… If you told the shy little girl I once was that one day she’d be standing here feeling so fulfilled, so trusted, and so deeply appreciated, she would have never believed you. As a child, I was quiet, uncertain, and often felt like I wouldn’t quite “make it.” But life has a beautiful way of surprising us. Working with children is more than just a profession, it’s a gift. It’s a daily reminder of purpose, of joy, of growth. And today, reading these heartfelt words from the parents of my students (shared in the photos), I’m reminded of something powerful: we all matter. We all leave a mark, whether we realise it or not. We are seen, we are valued, we are loved. To every parent, every child, every colleague who has walked part of this journey with me, thank you. You’ve given me more than words can hold. Here's to the next chapter, with gratitude in my heart and purpose in my steps.
