One of the biggest hidden costs in conveyor lubrication is hiding in plain sight: the amount of water you need to apply your lubricant. We worked with one soda manufacturer who ran their glass line 8 hours a day for 5 days a week. Their traditional water lubricant system used over 438,000 gallons of water a year. When their team worked with DuBois to switch to a dry approach, the difference was significant — water usage dropped by 98% to only 8,668 gallons of water a year.
