We are continuing to roll out ‘continuous footpaths’ at minor side roads across Dublin as part of the #ActiveTravel Network. The paving of these footpaths is level across the side road, signalling that pedestrians and wheelchair users have priority. Drivers and cyclists turning into or out of these roads must slow down and yield to footpath users. This is all part of making Dublin better for people who are walking, wheeling or cycling.
