Duane Morris partner Julian Jackson-Fannin has been elected president of the Wilkie D. Ferguson, Jr. Bar Association & Foundation and was sworn in during the organization’s 45th Annual Scholarship & Installation Gala held on May 30, 2026, in Miami, Florida. The gala showcased the theme “I, Too, Sing America: Celebrating 250 Years of Black Greatness” and featured keynote speaker Khadijah Sharif-Drinkard, ABC News and Senior Vice President of Business Affairs. Founded in 1977, the Wilkie D. Ferguson, Jr. Bar Association is dedicated to advancing the professional, civic and social interests of Black lawyers in Miami-Dade County. The organization was established by a group of attorneys committed to fostering greater inclusion and opportunity within the legal profession. Since its founding, the association’s presidents and members have played an influential role in shaping the legal, civic and political landscape of Miami-Dade County.
