Strategic Technology Leadership | Mega Projects & Sports Infrastructure | Venue Technology | Technology Integration | Operational Readiness | Saudi Giga Projects | Olympic Games Experience

In the next days it will mark my last day in Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026. It is difficult to put into words what this journey has meant to me, both professionally and personally. Over the past years, I have had the privilege to contribute to an extraordinary project, one that goes far beyond technology and infrastructure: it is about legacy, teamwork, and the spirit of the #Olympic and #Paralympic Games. On the professional side, it has been a unique opportunity, from planning, designing, and implementing technology strategies across all venues, to creating processes and frameworks that will remain for future Games. Beyond that, my sincere thanks go to all my colleagues at MiCo26. It has been a true privilege to work side by side with you, sharing ideas, challenges, and successes. I leave with immense gratitude and I wish nothing but the very best, even if I have no doubts about the outcome, knowing the dedication, passion, and hard work you have consistently put into this journey. A sincere thanks to Andrea Francisi and Marco Moretti for believing in me and for the trust, both in the good and difficult moments. To my dear colleagues, Head of, Giuseppe Civale and Maria Greppi, for leading the TLC area; to Vincenza Moroni for the vision in cybersecurity; to Alberto Autino, the master of the Apps; and to Barbara Ravera, our precious leader of the #PMO, together with her fantastic team Isabella Sala and Sonya Macheva. Thanks to the MiCo Results Team, Jacopo Piotto and Francesco De Rose, for your dedication, along with the MiCo Venue Tech team as a whole: I will name Michele Carafoli and Oscar Leita as representatives of this great group (you are too many, and I would surely forget someone 😊), including all the local VT people in #Livigno, #Bormio, #ValdiFiemme, #Cortina and #Anterselva, along with Andrea Di Martino, our unstoppable VT dedicated PMO. Huge thanks to Fedja Delalic and the entire IOC Tech Team for the constant and precious support. My gratitude also goes to the entire D.Tec team led by Dario Perreca and Marc Gutierrez, along with Jeremy Hore, Martyn Ryan and my CVTMs — Aleksandr Sher Harry Staniland Ademar Freitas Massimo Dossetto Koichi Chikuhi as well as Bernardo Paldes Aleczander Martys Mike Sumner, and Nikolaos Antonakis Nicola Colli Elena Gómez González for the Results area. A special thought goes to the colleagues I had the privilege to bring onboard, and watch grow over time. I have always believed in you, and every day you continue to show professionalism, dedication, and true commitment, embodying the Olympic spirit. The passion and resilience of this team will stay with me forever. And finally, a very special thanks to you Federica Sechi, my partner in crime, my safe harbour, the one always ready to support me and share our path: past, present, and future. Grazie Milano Cortina. Dani out.
