This past Monday, exactly 50 years after DSV was founded at a local inn in Denmark, we had the privilege of welcoming some of the people who were there from the very beginning of our journey. Founders, first shareholders, former and current colleagues as well as long-standing contributors joined us at our headquarters in Denmark to mark DSV’s anniversary – a milestone rooted in the bold decisions, strong relationships and hard work that have shaped who we are today. It was a perfect moment to look back and recognise the legacy built by those who took the first steps, helped DSV grow through the years and laid the foundation for a culture defined by entrepreneurship, accountability and a strong drive to keep improving. Their contribution is still part of DSV today – in the way we work, the values we carry forward and the ambition that continues to guide us. A highlight of the reception was the launch of the new book "The art of counting to 1 – The story of DSV”. Author Martin Flink introduced the book, which tells the story of the people, decisions and principles that have shaped DSV over the past 50 years. The Danish edition of the book is available for everyone as audio and e-book here: https://ow.ly/SQrh50ZnEXT. The English edition will be published in October. Thank you to everyone who helped shape the first 50 years of DSV – and to everyone who continues to carry our story forward every day.
