These days, our aerospace experts are on site at the MRO Americas – the world’s largest gathering of the aviation maintenance, repair and overhaul community. As the industry navigates an increasingly unstable operating environment, we are working closely with our customers and partners to develop robust supply chains and mitigate risk. The current market situation has also been a key topic in our conversations at the MRO, many of these centred around the question of how businesses can adapt in order to streamline their aviation maintenance, repair and overhaul operations in today’s unpredictable market. “Resilience in aviation aftermarket logistics is becoming a competitive advantage, and there are several important factors contributing to this. For one, AOG and critical maintenance flows need to stay protected – something that can be done by establishing robust, flexible and scalable logistics setups. There are also advantages to developing integrated contract logistics services that connect warehousing, value-added services and transport into one end-to-end MRO supply chain,” explains Charles Duchêne, Head of our Aerospace vertical. He adds: “In addition to this, we see significant potential in the implementation of practical AI, as it can improve decision-making by turning fragmented data into earlier signals, smarter prioritisation and fewer surprises across planning, inventory positioning and transport execution.” Thank you to everyone who has stopped by our booth so far for some great conversations!
