Last May, leaders from each of our five Mekong Delta countries gathered in Ho Chi Minh City for the Air & Sea Mekong Leadership Workshop 2026. Under the theme "From APAC Direction to Mekong Execution," the event homed in on a single, vital priority: turning strategy into real, measurable impact. Over two days, we challenged ourselves to rethink the way we work, applying First Principles Thinking and M.A.C.U. to break down complexity, question assumptions, and focus on what truly drives performance. But this gathering was about so much more than strategy or frameworks. At its core, it fostered open conversations, genuine collaboration, and a culture of shared accountability. Teams from Commercial, Air, Sea, BCM/IT, Finance/Legal, and P&O came together with enthusiasm and honesty, working as one to bridge the gap between alignment and execution. What emerged from these sessions was a unified direction forward, shifting from reactive to proactive operations, elevating customer partnerships beyond pricing, embedding AI and automation to drive tangible business results, building consistency through playbooks instead of relying on individuals, and simplifying decision-making to increase speed and accountability. We wrapped up the workshop with a collective commitment to simplify, align, communicate earlier, and execute better.
