DSV is expanding its Air ThermoDirect network with a new direct Indianapolis-Luxembourg route referred to as "Indy Wings", strengthening cold-chain connectivity from one of the United States’ fastest-growing life sciences and healthcare hubs. On 11 June, we welcomed customers, partners, city officials and industry leaders at Indianapolis International Airport for a behind-the-scenes look at how pharmaceutical supply chains are evolving through greater control and connectivity. The guests experienced tours of the dedicated aircraft and our temperature-controlled healthcare facilities, showcasing how we connect critical points across the supply chain under full accountability. The new connection links two key pharma gateways, improving predictability and scalability across important trade lanes. By reducing time in uncontrolled environments and simplifying handling, the solution helps protect product integrity while improving reliability, cost efficiency and emissions. “The Indianapolis operations will play a pivotal role in enhancing end-to-end visibility and control across key pharma regions, helping ensure that life-saving therapies move with greater speed, reliability and integrity,” says Kenneth Källström, EVP, Global Head of Healthcare, DSV. The Midwest continues to attract strong healthcare investment, with leading pharmaceutical and biotech companies driving demand for advanced temperature-controlled logistics.
