How do you test intelligent control strategies for future microgrids – before they are deployed? ⚡ At the microgrid laboratory at Universität Paderborn, this is done using real-time emulation instead of pure simulation. With 16 inverter nodes and a total capacity of 4 MVA, the lab can realistically reproduce the behavior of generators, storage systems, and loads – all controlled by SCALEXIO from dSPACE.
